Received information about the death of an old English friend today from Anna, his daughter. Felt sad and wrote her this mail :
"I am shocked to know about the demise of our dear friend, Richard. Our condolences to Janet on her bereavement and to other members of the family and you in particular. Richard had introduced us to you. We had delicious lunch together in your apartment.

We know Janet/Richard now for about 40 years. During our May/June visit each year (Wimbledon season) to London, either we would go to them or they would come to us Those were  pleasant meetings. I documented them in my blogs.

Please give copy of this mail to Janet. As we did not have her email id we could not write to her .We will look her up when we come next to London.

Please do inform us about the date, time and place of Memorial service.

Attended Puja and lunch arranged by the family of late Lalit Sinha on his first death anniversary at their VV residence,attended by friends and relations. Venita could not accompany as her cold is yet to fully cure. Subhash also could not come for the same reason. Anita/Pramod and Sunita also came.
