Completed morning program.
On way back, Ruchi visited birthplace of Krishna at Mathura. Reached Delhi at abut 5 pm.
Met Sharad Gupta, a retired IAS officer of Assam Meghlaya cadre at CGHS. In the Supreme court from about 2 to 4.3o pm. In the evening Dr Prasad, Mrs Prasad and Dipu dropped in to meet Amolikaa and Ruchi who are to leave for London next day.

Completed morning program
Today Ruchi and Amolikaa  along with others visited Fatehpur Sikri, near Agra. Dargah of Sufi saint Khwaja Ahmed Chisty is located here.
Went to SBI Basant lok to ascertain if our accounts are received from SBI Vikaspuri. These have since been received.

Completed morning program.
Went to CGHS. In the Supreme court from about 2.30 to 4.15 pm. Ruchi spent second day at Agra. She along with Amolikaa and others saw the Taj.

Completed morning program.
Babloo, Neha, Akshat, who are sightseeing in USA these days,visited Disneyland. Aditya and Pragati live some 20 kms away from there. All of them met and spent some good time together. Some photographs, sent by Neha , are given below.

Ruchi along with her parents, sister-in-law, her two children and Amolikaa went to Agra after lunch at VV to see TajMahal and other historical buildings there. They will return Delhi on 31st March.

27th March

Completed morning program.
Granddaughter Amolikaa and Aditri went for a swim in Ashoka hotel pool.  Ruchi,Venita accompanied them poolside .They had tea there. I joined them later. You can use Ashoka hotel pool on payment basis these days. After their swim, we had lunch at Ashoka hotel Coffee shop.
Barun came from Noida to meet Ruchi. They met at Dillihat. In the meantime i had returned VV along with children. Ruchi along with Venita shopped for a while at Dillihat to buy some gifts for her friends in UK.
India defeated Australia and will now play West Indies in.semifinal.

Completed morning program.
Venita along with Ruchi and grandchildren went to Gurgaon for lunch with Silku/Ritanbara and also look up Sunita and Subhash there.

On 20th March Amolikaa and her partner Saskia won the Surrey Little Tennis League in the U11 category representing their club Westside. Amolikaa and Saskia won their singles and doubles. Amolikaa won 6 - 0. These were the finals played at the National Tennis Centre.

Ruchi and Amolikaa came in the forenoon. They liked the flat and its decor. Aditi accompanied. Christians celebrated Easter all over India today. Venita with Ruchi, Amolikaa and Aditri went shopping in the evening and had dinner in the Mall. Mrs Prasad and Puja also joined in.

Completed morning program.
Holi is celebrated today. The Residents Welfare Association,VV, celebrated it with splash of colours and lunch in the park in front of our flat, joined in by over 50 residents and their children. Ruchi and Amolikaa talked to us from Mr Prasad's place where they are staying at present.

Completed morning program.
Ruchi reached Palam half an hour late, at about 11.15 am.Venita met her at the airport. Whereas she went to Dwarka along with Ruchi and Amolikaa by vehicle, Mrs Prasad and her entourage went by metro. It is convenient to travel to Dwarka by metro. Ruchi and Amolikaa talked to me from the airport.

Completed morning program.
Went to CGHS. As desired by Venita, some shopping at Sarojininagar. At Bengali market joint on Tansen road Costa coffee was all milk no Costa.. I felt as if it was Latte not Cappicino. Ruchi will leave Heathrow at about 8.30 pm GMT,that is, at about 2 am, late tonight according to IST.

Completed morning program.
Drove back to VV after spending weekend at Vikaspuri.The President VV welfare Association met. The Supreme court is closed w.e.f 19 to 27th March for Holi and other festivals. The High court is closed from 24 to to 27th March. Spending spare time in arranging thinga at VV to settle down.

Completed morning program.
Attended a talk and presentation by Dr Zeeshan Ali and Kanika Kohili on 'Vega life for mindful living' at CSOI today in the afternoon. They advocated shunning all animal and dairy products and to take fruits, vegetables etc. Plant based diet was good for control of diabetes, heart diseases and arthritis. I bought some organic products from Kanika. 

Amolikaa’s school was the runner up in the Netball Nationals, U11 category (what we call sub junior in India). They were beaten 7 – 6 in the finals, a very close finish. Another day they could have won.

Arvind, interior designer,came. Venita told him to do some items. Home center sent Venita's item of purchase, a trolly. She was quite happy to get it. Went to CGHS.

Completed morning program. 
Drove back to Vasant Vihar. Met Advocate Rajkamal, CA Gupta, Mrs Chandra and discussed her case coming up for Mediation at Dwarka court next day.
We got married today early morning 49 years back at Kanpur UP, India. Babloo, Neha and Akshat joined us on the day at Vasant Vihar. Due to preoccupation, Silku, Ritanbara and granddaughters could not come. Although we had no plan to go out for dinner, we decided to spend some time with Babloo, Neha and Akshat who were leaving next day for USA to attend wedding of Neha's cousin. During a fortnight stay, they will take Akshat to a number of places for his education. Some photographs, taken on the day at Taj Mahal hotel, are given below :

15 and16th March
Completed morning program.
Went to CGHS to collect indented medicines. Venita had follow-up-check of her eyes in the Center for sight. She has been visiting Center of sight for the last 7 years at least once each 2 months. Flying returns of Air India have given us free tickets to travel various parts of India quite a few times. To plug loopholes of the scheme to prevent fraud in procuring tickets by agents and others, they are demanding KYC. No free tickets will be issued now unless our KYC is updated. Understood the procedure in Air India office. We will furnish KYC shortly.

Discussed and conferred with client and Advocate Atiar from10 am to 2 pm in a nearby hotel. Venita suggested the meeting at Vikaspuri to avoid unnecessary travel on a Sunday. The World Culture Festival of AOL ended today.

World Culture Festival continued today also with lectures and cultural programs. Spent the day reading newspapers and magazines. With the help of Shiva Mohan who arrived yesterday in the afternoon, Venita started packing/unpacking winter/summer clothes. We came to Vikaspuri yesterday for weekend stay.

Satish and his wife asked us quite a few times to attend wedding of their daughter today. Despite efforts by us, we could not make it. We are sorry for it.
Went to CGHS for vitamin D injection. Due to vitamin D deficiency, a course is prescribed by the physician.
AOL World cultural festival started today. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and PM Modi addressesd it.

Art of Living (AOI) is fined Rs 5 crores for organizing World Cultural festival on the Yamuna floodbanks in Delhi by the National Green Tribunal (NGT). 
Despite the fine, AOI will hold the festival from 11 to 13th March 2016.

Went to SBI Vikaspuri to surrender the locker. Both Venita and Neha had to sign in the Bank Locker register. Came to VV in the afternoon. Spent the day reading newspapers and magazines.

8th March

Completed morning program. It took whole day to get 4 FDRs and two accounts of SBI Vikaspuri transferred to SBI Basant Lok in VV. Locker is also surrendered. It was primarily used by Neha who will now use one in Basant Lok. Surrender formalities will be completed next day when Neha comes to Vikaspuri. Venita is also required to be present besides Neha. Both ( mainly Neha ) operated the Locker at SBI Vikaspuri. Venita's name should also be added for operating locker at Basant Lok.Venita can help Neha in operating the locker when latter cannot come to VV for some reasons.

Completed morning program. Went to Safdarjung hospital and CGHS.
Shivaratri is celebrated with day long puja, bhajans and kirtan. Attended annual winter lunch of the Association of senior retired IPS officers at Nizanmuddin BSF officers mess along with Venita.We have come to Vikaspui thereafter to collect few things. We will also join in Shivaratri celebrations here on Monday,the 7th.

Collected test reports from Escorts hospital.. By the time Thapa went to take the reports yesterday these had not been sent to the delivery room.. These were sent today, On way back visited SBI. In the Supreme court from 2 to 4 pm.
Amolikaa's school was runner up in the regional schools netball tournament. It was a competition involving 64 schools. The Study (Amolikaa's school)  will now go to the nationals next week. Amolikaa plays wing defence in her team.

We congratulate Amolikaa, her teammates and wish them success in the nationals too. Her father went to nationals the same way in Table Tennis.
