 Struggle for leadership in Labour and conservative party is going on. Labour leader Jeremy Corbin looses confidence vote over Brexit but refuses to quit. If elections are to take place today, only Boris Johnson can win the election for the Conservative party, his private polling shows. A YouGov poll claims that 31% of conservative voters may back Theresa May, Home secretary, against 24% for Boris Johnson. Political situation appears to be uncertain. What will happen and how things will shape is difficult to guess.
 Quite a few games were washed out in Wimbledon courts due to rains.

Issues relating to Brexit dominate the columns of the newspapers in UK even today. While some are suggesting Parliament elections, others want another person to head the Government in place of  David Cameron from Britain's conservative party. The issue will be discussed in the ensuing conservative party Meet shortly. Scotland says it will continue to be part of EU. It is doubtful if it could be possible after vote in favour of Brexit.. The overall situation is in a state of confusion. It may take sometime to settle down.
Wimbledon tennis matches started from today. We had apple flower and mint leaf tea at a Costa coffee outlet of Southfields and watched Wimbledon crowds going back home taking trains from the tube station.

Andy Murray, World no.3 English tennis player, has won only one Wimbledon title so far. He has, however, been winning Queen's trophy continuously for last quite a few years.. In Wimbledon he either gets defeated by Roger or Djokovic or some other player at one stage or the other. But he continues to try every year to win. He said in an interview the other day :"The day i do not feel i can win is the day i will stop." Murray's commitment to the game is great.
According to Tom Payne, an English teacher at Sherborn school, living away can bring pupils even closure to their parents and boarding helps develop enduring friendships and family ties. " It is an unparalleled preparation for life.", he says.

Great Britain decided to leave EU by over 2% votes. David Cameron made a memorable speech after the results came out.
Legal block is caused to Obama's measures to protect millions of illegal immigrants from deportation as an equi-divided US Supreme court could not rule against a lower court order quashing measures to protect millions of illegal migrants.
There were a number of lightening occasions in UK during last couple of days,but there was no loss of life or property as it happened in India.

A report in the Daily Telegraph says that 'elite universities in UK are not so much bothered of the class for teaching.The fact is, however, that the top universities are relying on their reputation and design label to get undergraduates through the door, and not on the quality of the educational experience.' Out of 120 Institutes, rank of Oxford is brought down from 1st to 28th, Cambridge from second to 12th and Imperial college from 3rd to 37th position. The top three are reported to be :1. Lough-borough, 2.Aston and DE Mont-fort, according to Education Editor of The Daily Telegraph Mr Javier Espinoza.
Referendum voting on Brexit is going on in the entire UK. The results will be out tomorrow. There is a thinking that 'Europe is not desired any longer as also it does not create any desire.'

Pilku/Ruchi went to Amolikaa's school for parents meet. It has been raining throughout the day. We could not go out. On the eve of Yoga day, a full page article is published in The Daily Telegraph extolling the advantages of practising Yoga.
Intense debate is going on here whether to leave or remain in EU.

Went out for a walk today morning. Could not go out last two days as i was not feeling too well. As part of birthday celebration, Abhishree invited some friends and cut cake. They had food in two different restaurants. Babloo called on father's day.

Another news relates to Tata group in UK invoking British people to vote for remaining in EU. We all wished happy birthday to Abhishree. She was born today on 14.06.2002 at 6.55 pm GMT

 (11.25 IST  ) at Wellington, South West London, UK, 14 years back. We prayed for a healthy, long and prosperous life to her. Venita prepared 'kheer' and gave to all after offering to her 'Bal Gopal'.

We had dinner at a nearby Japanese restraunt. She cut the cake at home. All of us sang happy birthday to her excitement. Party for her friends and others  is organized on Friday, the 17th.

We left for overseas today at 1.30 pm. Babloo/Neha came to see us off at the airport. Pilku met at the Hethrow airport. We will stay with him for about a month. Talked to children and Ruchi. It s not so cold here. But it has the touch of Shillong type cold at this time of the year.
