Ruchi who came to visit her ailing father on 26th at Lucknow dropped in at Delhi on way back to London. The plane was late by 7 hours. She wished to meet ailing Sangita but could not.
BJP has launched a movement all over the country to explain true content of  CAA to people to dispel their misgivings.

Ruchi rang up and said that she would land at Palam airport tomorrow(30th )at 3.30 pm. She is traveling by Air India. Arrangements are made to pick her up from the airport. She will leave for London by Fin Air next day (31st) at 10 am and land at Heathrow via Helsinki at 5pm. Depending time of arrival at Delhi we will make  further program.
Protests against CAA do not make headlines in newspapers here these days. They find mention in 3rd or 4th pages.

Along with Venita visited Centre for Sight. Cataract of her left eye is to be operarated. 
Wished Happy birthday to Ruchi at Lucknow. Silku, Ritabara and Alaynah dined with us. Due to a prior arrangement with her friend, Khyati could not join in. She had come to meet us a couple of days back .They all are shifting to Switzerland.  Ritanbara is posted there. Silku is  also shifting to the new place. Astrological predictions for success in new place are good for him, particularly next year. May he write some good books.

Sporadic demos against CAA continued.

Venita went to Dillihat to buy some gifts for her daughters-in-laws for the New Year. Could not go to attend panel discussion on 'Cellular healing-ultimately healing; integrated and complementary medicine' at IIC due to extreme cold.

Venita visited Sangita who is admitted in the Rohini hospital for third round of chemotherapy. Ruchi landed at Delhi on way to her parents at Lucknow.
PM appealed for peace in the context  agitation on CAA.

Visited Dr.Hans' Centre for ENT for check-up of ears.

Silku and Khyati came in the forenoon.
Christmas Eve  celebrated in CSOI. Saw members enjoying lunch on lush green lawns in pleasant warmth of the sun..

Had planned to participate in the presentation  of Dr. Kush Varma (IAS Rtd) of his book 'A to Z of Civil Service' in CSOI. On arrival there, found it was postponed to 11th Jan.2020. Had missed to see the postponement message.

Attended E.C. meeting of Arpiso. Akhund Ramayanapath ended early morning.Venita returned VV from Vikaspuri in the afternoon.
Today mainly Bihar and UP were affected by violence on the issue of implementation of NRC.

Venita joined Akhund Rmayanapath in Arunadaya society temple today.
Mainly Dariaganj in Delhi and some districts of UP were affected badly by violence on NRC issue.

In the Supreme court in the afternoon. Venita left for Vikaspuri to participate in Akhund  Ramayana path in the evening. Will stay there for a couple of days.
A number of petitions have been submitted in the Supreme court for quashing  the Citizenship (Amendment) Act and to stay its operation in the meantime. While the SC agreed to examine the constitutional validity of the Act vi-vis article 14 of the Indian Constitution, it did not stay the Act.

Today is the last working day in the Supreme court before winter vacations.Visited Lenovo Service centre and Hans E&T for ear check-up.
The new British PM has appointed a PIO Shri Swarna Singh to review fact/level of Islamophobia of the British people and submit a report for remedial action

Sangita went back home at Noida after first round of chemotherapy. She will come to the hospital next week or so for the second round.
Telangana police took the 4 rape accused of Hyderabad incident yesterday to the isolated place where they had allegedly raped the 27 year old veterinary doctor and burned her. Police reportedly shot them dead alleging attack and attempt to escape from custody.

Sangita's elder sister stayed back in the hospital yesterday night. Tarun came to Vikaspuri along with Venita. Tarun went to  the hospital in the morning and Venita returned VV in the evening today.
There was spat between Trump and Macron during last NATO Summit. It appears NATO is not what it used to be a couple of years back, cohesive and compact organisation.

Venita went to Vikaspuri to aid Tarun in taking care of Sangita in course of her treatment at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer institute at Rohini near Vikaspuri. She will stay there and also participate in  Akhand Ramayana at Vikaspuri Society temple.

Babloo was born today. He is 48. On 1st December, 1971, Wednesday, Chaturdashi of the month of Marg Shirsh, Shuklapksh, Samvat 2028, he was born at 09.02 hours in Dhubri civil hospital, Assam. Venita prayed wishing him long and healthy life. She distributed sweets to all . We called him in the morning and wished happy birthday. Later we had lunch with him at Hyatt , Neha, daughter-in-law and Akshat, grandson to celebrate the day. 
In allocation berths in Maharastra cabinet, NCP got a Deputy Chief  Minister and 14 other ministerial posts. Congress got Speaker's post and 13 ministerial berths.
