Completed morning program. Attended DP Kohli memorial lecture of Shri Arun Jaitly, the Union Finance Minister, organised by CBI on 'Economic challenges for Aspirational  India' at Vigyan Bhavan in the morning. Shri Kohli was the first Director of CBI.
Shri Jaitly analysed the current economic situation in details. He advocated creation of conducive investment environment for a double digit growth so that jobs are created for the youth of the country. He further said that taxation policy had to be non-adversarial.

25th April

Completed morning program. Venita and her entourage had a dip in the Ganga at Har-ki-Pauri, Haradwar very early morning. They also went to Chandi Devi temple. Venita met the local SP, Ms. Sweety Agarwal. She helped Venita during her stay in one way or the other at Haradwar. She thanked her. After a short detour for a visit to Shuktal on way at  Mujaffarnagar where Rishi Shukdeo first recited Srimadbhagwat to Raja Parikshit, Venita returned home late night.

24th April

Completed morning program. Venita left for Haradwar on a two day visit in a Toyota Innova car on rent. She will have a dip in the Ganges tomorrow (25th April) which is Ganga saptami, the day on which Ganga is believed to have come to the earth. She is accompanied by 4 ladies of the society who will share the rental along with her. Sheomohan is also gone. He was keen for the visit.
After settling down in the hotel and lunch, Venita and entourage went for a dip in the Ganga. In the evening they joined in Ganga Arti. Earlier they visited Mansa Devi temple.

Completed morning program. About 400 people took food in the Langar (community kitchen). As food was cooked for 600 people, the remaining was distributed outside the Society gate to all those who passed by It is a conventional to organise Langar after 7 day Srimadbhagvat katha.

Completed morning program. Today's Katha centered round Krishna's Bal Lila, destruction of demons such as Putna, Narkasur, Bakrasur, Ajgasur and others. Finally it was the story of lifting of Govardhan mountain to protect Brijbasis from the torrential rains due to the wrath of Indra. .

15th April.

Completed morning program. Today's Katha centered round Narsingha avtar, saving of elephant from the clutches of crocodile, Samudra-manthan, Vaman bhagvan, story of Ram and finally birth of Krishna. An infant acted as Krishna. A number of people danced to devotional songs.

Completed morning program. The courts are closed due to Ambedkar Jayanti. Attended Katha. Today it centered round the beginning of human life, Manu Shatrupa, death of Sati, story of Prahlad, Dhruva and Bharat. It continued for over 4 hours.

Yesterday Guruji spoke about importance of hearing Katha and the story of Gokaran as it comes in the Srimadbhagwat. Today he narrated the story of Raja Parikshit and Kaliyug.  More people attended compared to yesterday. Sunita and Gauri's mother also came.

Completed morning program. Srimadbhagvat Katha started today. 2 hundred people joined in the event. Babloo,Neha and Akshat came. So also Sunita and Gauri's mother. It started with Puja  and Kalash yatra.

Completed morning program. Visited Safdurjung hospital and CGHS. In the Supreme court from about 1 to 3.30 pm.  Met Anand Verma in the Supreme court library for a short time. Final touches are given to the arrangements for Srimadbhagvat Katha by Venita. It is to start from 12th for 7 days to 18th, followed by Langar (community kitchen ) on 19th April.

Completed morning program. After completion and perusal of Venita's eye test reports today, the ophthalmologist has ruled out glaucoma . Retina has,however,to be kept under observation. Glaucoma tests will now be done again after 8 months and retinal tests after each 3 months.. The whole day was spent in the Eye hospital from 9 am to 6 pm. Pilku and Silku  donated for the Katha.
