Although Dr. Prasad, Ruchi's father, recovered from Covid attack, but both of his lungs are (except a fraction of one lung) are damaged. He is admitted in a Lucknow hospital on support system. Ruchi/Prachi cannot come from London/Adelaide due to quarantine restrictions. Dipu is leaving Delhi for Lucknow tonight. Dr. Prasad's wife and other relations are there. 

I laid hands on a letter of Khyati dated 24.06.2012 in which she profusely thanks for getting her passport. She went to Singapore. On return she wrote me at 3 page letter giving details of her experiences during stay there. I have kept the letter in original with me and read it sometime.

My all the three sons used to write to my late father. I could not laid hands on a letter written by Khyati's father, my second son, to him but I remember to have preserved their letters. A sample of such a letter written by my eldest son to him is  given below :

Holi was being celebrated all over India and the world at low key due to Covid today. There was 'Holika Dahan' yesterday. A caller from our home town,Fatehpur,informed that it was being celebrated there as in previous years. There was no hesitation in playing Holi due to fear of Covid. Fortunately Silku has agreed to join our Sunday Whats App group from next date pursuant to a request by me.....We met Bezbaruah at Juri's place in the evening today. We brought lunch from VV. We do not permit maid to cook due to Covid. Venita took groceries for VV. She prefers to take them from her favorite shop at Vikaspuri.

In Rajat's birthday get together there were Subhash/Sunita/Pramod/Anita besides us,one friend, Chotu and his mother. We had early dinner. Prior to the visit to Rajat's place we dropped in Babloo/Naha's place. Chotu got dinner from a local restaurant. Rajat cut the cake to the singing of happy birthday. Rajat is quite affectionate but has some idiosyncrasies. To be able to pull on with him one has to understand them. He is always ready to help.

Drove to Vikaspuri along with Venita. A/C technicians did the servicing of all 4 A/cs. Two of the A/cs required gas-filling included in the AMC. One needed change of coil costing additional Rs. 5,500/- over and above AMC. While Venita stayed back at Vikaspuri for Shiva's abhishek on Shivaratri next day, i returned VV in the evening. I will go to Vikaspuri next day in the forenoon again to look up some unfinished work. Both of us will return VV in the evening.

On 5th March, i wrote in my blog that 'Pilku suggested that we should try to get Covaxin.' In fact he had suggested 'Covishield'. I wrote it wrongly. His wish was fulfilled and we were given Covisheild. 

As Pilku was driving Amolikaa to her boarding school in Beneden in UK after the weekend, Silku exploring Blonay in Switzerland and Babloo  spotting leopards in Jawai Conservation center in Rajasthan,we missed our interaction last Sunday evening. I saw a photo of a leopard on the dry trunk of tree,taken by Akshat with the help tele lens from quite a distance . Perhaps it must be searching for a prey. Photo could be sent in a competition
