Barun'son is coming with family from USA on a short trip to look-up his ailing father-in-law. We will meet them on 25th at Noida.

It drizzled in the morning. It was cold too. Venita  went Southside for shopping.
A news item in the Daily Telegraph dated 16th Oct says 'Racist  Gandhi' statue must go. The statue was donated by a spiritual mission based in Gandhi' ancestral land. The said gesture was widely publicized and there were no objections then.

Visited Janet,widow of Richard Stobart, our long time English friend, at her new house, 5 Asp Lands Close, Woburn Sands. Bedfordshire MK17 8PD. Spent over an hour with her.

It was drizzling  in the morning.
Pilku accompanied us up to  London EUS. We left London EUS for Sheffield via Manchester at 10 AM. Due to an accident train was held up at Watford . Reached Manchester about 2 and half hour late. On the way lush green fields were enchanting. Warner Bros Studio is located at Watford where Harry Potter was filmed. Tours are conducted to this pace and there is wait for  you to be  included in the tours.
Met Kyati at Sheffield's. She was cheerful.
Distance between London and Manchester is 320 km and Manchester and Sheffield 62 kms.
13th
Had bunch with children. Amolikaa had come from Benenden  yesterday. She went back to her hostel today.
Uncertainty  about Brexit continued.

It has been drizzling since early morning. Packed up to go to Sheffield early morning tomorrow to meet our granddaughter studying medicine there.

She is 18. It was Ashtami of Aswin's Adhik Mas (Dwatiya), Krishnapaksh, Wednesday, Vikram Samvat  of crimes2058/Shak Samvat 1923 of the Hindi Panchang corresponding to 10th October, 2001 of Gregorian calender at 12.10 pm in a Vasant Vihar hospital, New Delhi.We blessed her for happy and bright life. We tried to talk to her from London at Sheffield. Could not talk to her on the day. Will meet her on 12th at Sheffield.

Venita lost her Citi credit card. Our son reported loss to Citi bank. Its access was blocked. Purchases made before blocking and after are not yet reflected in our accounts .
Climate agitators blocked at quite few places in London affecting normal life.

American President requested British PM Johnson to investigate the investigators who were tying to find out Russian links to USA elections.

Watched a couple persons who maintain gardens, taking care of our son's garden.They did a professional job and went away thereafter.Not of much of sun today too. But no rains.
One million pounds of Nizam of Hyderabad became 35 millions after 70 year litigation. These were given by High court at London to their grandchildren.
2000 angry Policemen marched on the roads of Paris yesterday demanding better amenities/service conditions.
Driverless cars will be a reality on London roads by next year. Separate networks of lanes are in making.

It was raining throughout today. Could not go out. Local papers say that police could not be utilized for enforcing vaccination.

After fight of over 9 hours by Virgin Atlantic reached London at about 5.30 PM. I was raining there. There were more Asians in the flight. There were few Europeans. Watched two movies,'Sir and Razi (partly)'. Carried cold from Delhi.  Had uncomfortable night. Met son, his family and spent some good time with them.
