22nd to 24th February

On 22nd visited CGHS for medicines.In chambers from 12.30-3.00pm.Visited Fortis Noida & met Yash. His condition is stable. Dr.Ojha,Hematologist,who was attending Yash, said Yash's condition was the same as it was yesterday. On 23rd again visited CGHS and later SBI. Deposited surrender form of Thapa's SBI life policy for refund of premia given so far. Visited Fortis Noida. Yash has been planted a pipe through his chest for ATG injections from tomorrow. In chmabers from 2pm-4.15pm. Visited Precision dental center.On 24th stayed back at home. None can visit Yash except his mother to avoid infection as he is in the process of taking ATG injection,which takes 12 hours to complete. Visited Stellar Gym Khana, Greater Noida to attend Vishu's marriage. The following lines were noted by me from today's newspapers:
1) "A shining service sector won't employ India's millions. We must boost manufacturing."
2) "Muslim concerns are those that emerge only/primarily because one is Muslim."

18th to 21st February

On 18th visited CGHS & collected Venita's medicines. Some have to be collected tomorrow. Visited SBI and took a Tax saving fixed deposit. It will save Rs.17,000/- which would have gone as income tax for the financial year 2010-11.In chamber from 1.30-3.30pm.Yash is suffering from Aplastic anemia.It can be cured by implanting bone marrow from siblings.As he does not have a sister or brother, it has to be done by injections/medication. Talked to Dr.Sushum Sharma. He advised in details about treatment of Yash.On 19th met Dr.Lalit Kumar who is the head of the department of Oncology in AIIMS.After seeing the papers,he said that the medical case of Yash related to the Haemotology department and suggested us to meet either Dr.Mohapatra, Dr. Mishra or Dr.Tulika Seth. Visited Noida and met Gillo,Geeta & Yash. Pradeep has to mobilize a sum of rupees 25 Lacs for the treatment of Yash in Fortis Noida.On 28th Venita along with Neha went to look up Yash in Fortis Noida. Yash is stable but he is being given blood and platelets regularly. Gillo is also there. Munna has gone back to Ganganagar today. All of them have been able to mobilize a sum of rupees 10 lacs for the expenses for ATG injections. I have also promised to give a sum of rupees 1 lac for his treatment whenever it is required. On 21st met PPS to the Director AIIMS as desired. Sh.Rakesh Kumar,PPS to the Director AIIMS, organised a meeting with Dr.Vipas Mishra,a hematologist for seeing the medical papers of Yash.he recommended some tests in AIIMS and some outside.It is only after seeing the results of the tests & slides he could decide further course of treatment. Met Dr.Ojha of Fortis Noida who is treating Yash. Tried to meet Director Fortis,but could not. In chambers from 2pm-3.30pm. Collected endorsement for Venita's OCT tests and eye drops.I liked the following line read by me in one of the Sunday newspapers, "And they all know too well that the incease in micro-level corruption is spreading because mega-size corruption is tolerated at the top."
Commissioner of Police,Delhi, has started a good practice. He and his officers will be available to public during certain hours on weekdays. I read it in the morning newspapers.

17th February

Completed morning program.Visited Ayurvedic CGHS dispensary to take medicine prescribed by eye specialist of Center for Sight.Visited Sir Gangaram hospital to give bone marrow and blood samples of Yash for tests. Bone marrow test is done to ascertain if a person is suffering from leukemia or tuberculosis or any other variation of flu.In chambers from 1.20pm-3.30pm.
Retired to sleep at 10.30 pm.

16th February

Could go for walk only. Rush to the Fortis Noida where Venita is already there.Yash is admitted for treatment of very low level of Platelets. She was in the hospital throughout the day.Bone marrow test has been done and its result will be known after 3 days. Fortis is trying to find out test reports from 3 different places for comparison. I carried bone marrow and blood samples to Gangaram hospital. The reports will be given after a week or so. A sum of Rs.9000/- was paid for the tests. Pradeep had given the money to me for it. Yash was quite uncomfortable during the day due to bone marrow test. Gillo is likely to come on 19th. In the chambers from 12.45-3pm.
Today was holiday, being Prophet Mohamed's birth anniversary. He also died on the same day. Curiously Buddha also born on the same day on which he died.He also got enlightenment on the same day. I don't know about Jesus.I know this much that he was born on 25th December. When I look back my life in retrospect I find no trace of vision. I had only aspirations of the kind that gave me wordly status and recognition.

15th February

Completed morning program. Visited Safdarjang hospital to get the endorsement for Venita's eye test on 25th. Venita went to Gurgaon to look up Babua who was having fever. She visited Silku's place and returned at about 7.20pm. In chamber from 1.15pm to 3.30pm. Had a walk in the evening also. We received the information about sudden ebb in the platelets of Yash. Venita decided to go to Noida. She reached there after 11pm and stayed for the night. Yash is admitted in Fortis Noida. Pradeep told me that any further reduction in platelets could lead to internal hammeraige and be fatal too.But they did not carry out any bone marroow test today.They would do it tomorrow. We were quite worried about Yash.
Retired to sleep at about midnight.

14th February

Completed morning program with walk in the evening. Could walk only two and half kilometers as it started drizzling. Visited Yash in the NMC. He is improving. Came to know that Barun who had prostrate operation on 10th had some problem.Visited him in Max,Saket along with Venita.Dr.Shusum Sharma also came. He was better when we saw him. In chambers from 1.15pm-3.15pm. One could reach Max,Saket, from anywhere by metro alighting at Malviya Nagar. It is 5 mins walk to Max,Saket from there. Heard an interesting talk on BBC. A UN spokesman said that food prices had risen all over the world due to speculation and future tradings,where as an American expert from Cichago said it was simple Economics. The demand had risen where as supply had not. Investment in Agriculture was the need of the hour.

11th to 13th February

On 11th met Dr.Sushun Sharma along with Venita and Pradeep to discuss Yash's case. He advised immediate bone marrow test.He spoke to Dr.Agarwal of Noida medical center and onclonist in MAX, Saket. But later Pradeep decided to go for the test at Fortis,Noida which was near his house for logistic reasons. After the test I would organize to show the reports to Dr.Lalit Kumar,onclonist in AIIMS too.Dr.Sethi of AIIMS who visited Yash advised that we should get the bone marrow test done in a hospital where we proposed to take further treatment.In chambers from 1-3.30 pm.Visited Center for Sight. Dr.Talwar saw Venita and advised OCT and come to him on 25th February.On 12th visited Balaji dental center for Venita's dental process.Received information that the condition of Yash was improving.On 13th came to know that condition of Yash had further improved.

10th February

Could go only for a brisk walk. Could not undertake exercises. Visited MAX, Saket to look up Barun,whose prostrate operation took place today.He was having accute pain after the operation. After injection of painkiller he was feeling much better. Venita stayed back.Visited Ayurvedic dispensary for capsule AMDP, a multi vitamin. It will be given on the next Tuesday. In chambers from 12.30pm-2pm. Took Venita to Noida Medical Center,where Yash is admitted for lingering fever for the last 15 days. Will consult Dr.Shushum Sharma of MAX tomorrow with all the papers.

9th February

Completed morning program and also had another walk in the evening for 45 mins. Visited SBI for inquiries about Thapa's SBI life policy.He had taken the policy about 6 months back on prodding of Ms.Shama Arora of SBI. When deductions of premia had not been made for 3 months upto December 2010. I brought it to the notice of Ms. Arora.Ms.Arora,who coaxed to take the policy,in not very salutary language, informed that she had nothing to do then. I told her that she had promised to help my illetarate driver even if I was not there. I further told her I was unhappy with her tone and language.I reported the matter to her AGM after paying a small sum as penalty for restoration of the policy.Again no deduction is made in the month of January 2011.When I reported it to her she told me that I had given her much trouble. I told that it would be better that the amount so far paid in the policy be refunded.She gave me a surrender form which I would fill up & give to the AGM for getting the refund. I informed the AGM about the attitute of Ms. Arora. He said not to worry and he would take care.Visited CGHS.In chambers from 12.30-2.30pm. Venita had dental process in Balaji center Pashcim Vihar. In Arushi murder case the court directed CBI to prosecute Talwars. It was on expected lines.

8th February

Today I had to go to MAX hospital to reach there before 10am.Barun's prostrate operation was fixed to start at 10am. Later we came to know that it was postponed to 10th February.As Barun was already in the hospital, we decided to look him up and meet other members of the family who had assembled in the hospital to be available for any emergency.We met Barun and others.I talked to Dr.Rajiv Sood of the hospital who was to do the operation.He told me that he had to postpone the operation as PSR level of blood was very high.He was giving medicines to bring it down.He further said that if he had operated at the existing level of PSR,it might have let to complications including clotting of blood. I told him to do what was medically proper. PSR level of blood indicates infection in body.In people suffering from cancer, this level goes up to 2000.Its level should not be more than 20.If it is more than 20,it indicates some infection in the body.Even if one has flu,its level goes up more than 20.As I had some other work to do,I bid good bye to all the family members and said that I would meet them on 10th February. Venita stayed back. In chambers from 11pm to 3pm. Venita visited nearby mall and bought some cute clothing for Alenah. Visited Supreme Court for some professional work.

7th February

Completed morning program. Visited dental surgeon Safdarjang hospital. Happened to meet Dr.R.K.Khullar,Head of the department, dental unit,CGHS wing,Safdarjang hospital. He said that bones for dental implants were not adequately strong.The implants may not succeed.I told him that if they can survive for another 8 years,it's enough for me. He asked as to how I was sure that I needed them only for only 8 years. I told him I was sure of it. He got curious.He wanted a detailed discussion.I told him we could have it sometime later. He is a great believer in Sirdi's Saibaba's powers to take care of his devotees.He narrated me an incident of his life in which he and his family were saved of a major car accident.Visited CGHS, Pandara road. In chambers from about 1.20pm-4.20pm.

4th to 6th February

On 4th went for a brisk walk. Could not do the exercises etc. as got up at about 6.45 am, about more than two hours late. Visited Safdarjang hospital and later CGHS. In chambers from 1-4.30pm.Gave Chacko browne to Bablu for Babua.Sheomohan went back to Fatehpur after stay of one month and eight days. On 5th Venita could not go to attend Anand's engagement at Allahabad. Munna and Gillo visited Fatehpur on way to Allahabad from Kanpur and had breakfast at our place. Visited Balaji dental center for Venita's dental process. Silku sent a picture of Alenah in the bathtub. We have put it up to hit our eyes all the time. She is cute & looks more like her mother. On 6th read a telling description of Blog,Facebook and Twitter in Times of India.
Blog: "A personal web page with unlimited space to write. Visible to all though can be protected." Facebook: "More interactive than blogs. Usually restricted to known people." Twitter: "Posting limited to 140 characters. A medium for instant thoughts visible to all."
Anand rang up and said that everyone came for the engagement except us.I told him that we will make it up on 4th and 5th March.I sent my car for servicing. The workshop could not do dry cleaning of the interiors as they do not have facilities for the same.Retired to sleep at 11.30pm.

1st to 3rd february

On 1st we had a conference with KTS in the matter of Frigoglass. Sanjaya and Atiar also attended.The case is coming up for hearing on 3rd.In chambers from 1.15pm-6.30pm.On 2nd left for Chandigarh at about 1.15pm. The flight was late by over 1 hour. Venita dropped me at the Airport. At Chandigarh had a steam bath, walked along the swimming pool and later in the green area around the hotel premises. At 8 we had dinner, Sanjaya and me.We tried offer of 11 heavens dinner for Rs.1000/- in a Chinese Restaurant,Lotus.It was not a good experience.Food was stale. On 3rd attended High Court of Punjab and Haryana. Although the case was fixed for hearing today, but it did not figure in the cause list.KTS mentioned it to the court for fixation of a date.The court did not oblige him.It said that it would take up when it comes up after being fixed for hearing by the registry. Sanjaya,Atiar and me had lunch in the Chinese Restaurant.Atiar discussed Narayan's case also. We missed 2.45 pm Kingfisher flight and had to take 3.30 one. Travelling on board Kingfisher flight from Chandigarh to Delhi, I found sitting between Governers of Haryana and Punjab. I felt as if I was sitting between two dead bodies. Is posting to the office of Governer tantamount to bidding the persons a good bye forever? We arrived Delhi at about 4.30pm.

31 January

Completed morning program.Visited Safdarjang hospital.Visited CGHS. Met KTS and congratulated him on his appointment as Vice Chairman,Law Commission of India.Earlier I had sent sms to him on Sunday: "Congratulations on your appointment as Vice Chairman,Law Commission of India.God may bless you with many more such honors." KTS replied,"Thanks a lot for your most valuable good wishes.I will consider myself lucky if we can speed up the justice system."
Visited dental center at Sarita Vihar for check-up.Thapa has come after leave from Nepal.He will resume his duty from tomorrow.Suresh,who drove my vehicle in his absence, was feeling sad to go.Paid him in full.In addition I also paid him transport charges from his village in Sonipat to Vikaspuri & back amounting to Rs.1750/- for 48 days of service in absence of Thapa though it was not part of agreement with him.I was impressed with his sincerity.Everyday morning he will catch the train from Sonipat at 6am,come to Ashok Vihar Railway Station and therefrom to Vikaspuri by bus reaching at about 9am, everyday of his service. He is honest,hard working and a family man.I have recommended him to Vikram Cairei for employment with him.
