Completed morning program.
Went to Vikaspuri to cast vote in the Society elections. Barun came along with family. They met Pilku too. Silku joined Pilku over dinner. Babloo/Neha/Akshat came.They met Pilku with gifts to Abhishree and Amolikaa for their rakhis.We all had long chat.

Completed morning program.
Visited Gurgaon to bless Silku on his birthday. He was born today.  According to the Indian calendar, he was born on 12th day of Bhadrapad, Krishnapaksh, on Thursday at 08.07 pm, Jorhat, Assam, Samvat 2027 corresponding to Gregorian calender's 27.08.1970. He is 46 today.
Today is also wedding anniversary of Pilku and Ruchi. Pilku is here these days. Wished him and talked to Ruchi also to bless her. Along with Venita had lunch with Pilku, Si;ku and Babloo at the Palm, Gurgaon. Met Ritanbara, Neha, Khyati, Akshat and Allayanah also.

Completed morning program.
Pilku arrived in the morning. Received a number of calls wishing happy birthday. Subhash and Sunita came. We had lunch together and long conversation on various contemporary issues.

Completed morning program.
Janmashtami is being celebrated today. It will end at midnight when birth of Krishna takes place. We visited local Sanatan Dharma temple and did Puja there at about midday. A get-together with variety program was organized in A block of Vasant Vihar. We also joined in the celebration. We did Puja  in our own temple at home too.

Completed morning program.
 Talked to Alaynah, granddaughter, early morning. Blessed her for happiness, long and healthy life. She was born today at Gurgaon, Haryana, 6 years back. According to Indian calendar, it was Navmi, Shuklapaksh, Shravan, Vikram Samvat 2067 at 11 am, Thursday, corresponding to  Gregorian calender's 19.08.2010 . In the morning we prayed for her long happy life. Venita did Puja in her temple at Vasant Vihar. A get-together is organized tomorrow. She will also cut the cake on the day.
Accounts assistant came. We worked at residence office to complete the leftover work for my and Venita's ITR-2016-17.

Heard PM Modi's speech from the Red fort on the 7oth anniversary of India's Independence Day. In the page no. 15 of the Indian Express a write-up by Ramchandra Guha, a reputed historian,is published today. It gives insight into Freedoms in the country. Reached Vasant Vihar. Visited Basant Lok SBI branch at Vasant Vihar and IIPA. Venita joined in a Puja followed by rotational get-together with about 15 families of VV in a nearby house of a retired Lt. General Shankar Prasad. I know the General. We had interacted while i was DIG CBI and he was posted in Army Hqrs.

Visited Safdarjung hospital and Mahajan diognostic centre. In the evening went to exhibition organized by Paramvir Singh's daughter, Anu at Ashoka hotel. The hotel is big but few people there.
