We arrived Vikaspuri quite late in the night after attending marriage-reception-dinner of Shri Kalita' son to collect certain items. We will go back to VV on Saturday the 27th Feb. Venita has invited some relations for tea on Sunday the 28th Feb.

Could not sleep more than 3 hours due to a party near the VV flat with shrill music. As Vikaspuri SBI will be quite far from Vasant Vihar, visited nearby SBI Vasantlok to transfer our accounts from Vikaspuri to Vasantlok.We are also hiring locker there closing the one at Vikaspuri. The process may take a few days.
Due to the acidity had to take rantack injection. Vicky took us to the hospital in the night.Could sleep well after injection. In  the Supreme court from about 1 to 3.30 pm.

21st and 22nd Feb

21st.
Could not stick to morning program due to viral.
Interior designer came and suggested placements of Khyati's paintings,other photographs and new furniture. Venita gave chocolates for his teenage daughter and  some Puja laddus. I gave him a cheque towards full and final payment of his bills. He was moved by Venita's gesture. Perhaps he did not expect it. He did not show any mercy in billing.
Came to know about the book 'When breath becomes air' by Paul Kalanithi. I am looking for it.

22nd
Slept only for a couple of hours.
Completed morning program after about a week. The physician who treated me did not prescribe any antibiotics. I did not fully cure. Today the CMO CGHS prescribed antibiotics. I have to take them for three days.
In the Supreme court from 2 to 4 pm.
As i cannot send this from VV, sending it now from Chanakyapuri. Photon does not work in VV due to traffic congestion.

20th Feb

Due to viral could no stick to program.
Puja for Griha pravesh to A7/2 was done with elaborate rituals. We blessed Pilku and Ruchi for this wonderful gift to us at the right time. It will make our life comfortable and easy to live till our breath becomes air. Gita who joined us on the occasion said that she felt vibrations of positivity and 'khushdili' from the house. These will make us happy. Subhash has sent a Puja album and other photographs. He is our chief friend, philosopher and guide.May God bless him with happiness and good health. Joined Venita in shopping for A7/2. In the Supreme court from 2.30 to about 5 pm. Visited A7/2. Returned Vikaspuri along around 7.30 pm..

Attended Vikas's niece's marriage ceremonies and reception thereafter at the Grand ballroom hotel, an annexy of the Grand hotel, Vasant kunj at  distance of about 10 minute drive from A7/2. He requested us over phone to attend it besides sending invitation card with a packet of sweets. Visited the flat before going to the hotel. As we do not take sweets, it was given to my elder sister who had come to us yesterday.She and Munna are fond of sweets. They left for Kanpur by Toyota Innova early morning.. They traveled all the way from Bhatinda to Kanpur by road about 800 kms. Drive takes over 12 hours .Their stay was short. It was elevating. My elder sister looks like my mother. My mother was healthy, beautiful, loving, deeply religious and a kind person. She died in her early forties. I was then a student of class 11.

Completed morning program. Attended Gurumaa's discourse at Sirifort.   Munna and elder sister came to stay with us for a day. It is Valentine day today. On 13th July,2009 i wrote about Valentine day in my blog after our Goa visit :
"It was Valentine day & a restaurant of south Goa was full of young girls and boys in their best outfits. As we did not order hard drinks, the waiter did not like it and exhibited a grim face. Over the years, St. Valentine has incorrectly been associated with finding love. According to the Roman Catholic Church, St. Valentine is the patron saint for those who have already found their love. In fact St. Raphael is the patron saint for 'happy encounters' and it is to him young lovers should direct their prayers for love and not to St. Valentine. St. Valentine is said to have been martyred in ROME in 269 AD." 
According to the advice by party in power in the Union Territory of Delhi, namely, AAP, we should worship our parents on the day. As our parents are no more, we gave the same respect to the elder sister who happened to visit today.

Completed morning program.
Went to CGHS. Venita's prescribed tests were done at Escorts hospital. It took almost the whole day. On way back visited A7/2. Invertor is installed in the flat. Ground and First floors have invertors and 2nd ,3rd floors DG sets. Invertors are environment friendly. The DG sets emanate diesel fumes. Arrest of some students of JNU for allegedly anti-national activities have led to heated discussions.

Completed morning program.Visited CGHS and Escorts hospital. A number of tests, prescribed by Dr Anoop Mishra, diabetes expert, after examination of Venita, have to be done. Escorts is now a CGHS approved hospital where we are permitted to undertake tests and treatment. Payment is made by the Government. Visited A7/2 also for some work. Venita stayed back at home. Shiva Mohan went to Fatehpur after a stay of about 2 months by Rewa express. The exams of her daughter and son start from 18th Feb onward.

Along with Venita, visited A7/2. Mineral RO system is installed. MTNL line is connected but as internal electrical circuit could not be located, the phone line is likely to be activated next day. Returned Vikaspuri after a stay of over 5 hours at A7/2.

Spent over 8 hours at A7/2 along with Venita looking into misc things. I had to skip over two important engagements. It is going to be hectic next day also.

Along with Venita attended Shanti Sabha arranged by Mrs Dutta, wife of late SK Dutta ex-Director CBI, at Kalibari, Vasant Vihar. Friends and relations of Late Dutta and his family came and condoled his death. Meanwhile a priest chanted mantras and guided late Dutta's daughter and later son as they did some Puja rituals in front of a large picture of goddess Kali.We returned after staying with Mrs Dutta for a little over half an hour. We were told that the Puja would continue for few hours.
Visited A7/2 for misc. work.

Visited Safdarjung hospital. Dr Anoop Mishra, a diabetes expert of Fortis hospital has prescribed a number of tests and recast Venita's medical prescription. Its endorsement by a diabetes expert of Govt. hospital is necessary to get the prescribed medicines from CGHS and tests done at a CGHS approved private hospital or diagnostic center, such as Escorts, Max or Apollo.

Visited the workshop of the interior designer and ordered some items to be made by him for A7/2. Venita went to A7/2 for miscellaneous work while i stayed back in CSOI library.

Visited A7/2 along with Venita. Arvind Wadhawa, interior designer came and arranged furniture in the flat. Godrej also completed their supply. It should be possible to shift to the flat by 15th Feb.

1st Feb

Completed morning program.
Along with Venita visited A7./2. Vicky met us in the flat. We requested him to coordinate with Uppal and co, the builders, to do minor repairs in the flat wherever necessary. There is nauseating stench in the water, perhaps because it has remained stored unused for long time. No hot water; geyser is perhaps dysfunctional.We are arranging to drain out all water from overhead tanks and get them cleaned up. Vicky says that we have to get the tanks cleaned up at least once every 6 months. We follow six monthly process of  cleaning at our Vikaspuri flat too. Plumber came and initiated corrective measures. I wrote down all that is to be done in the flat in the diary of Vicky's  assistant for follow-up with Uppal and coy who are to maintain the flat for one year without any charges as per terms of sale deed.
