Venita went to Vikaspuri in the morning. She will return VV in the evening. Visit to Vikaspuri is like a visit to a farm  house to her where the main activity is temple management. Comparably the place has cleaner weather and rural surroundings.It too has her contacts of over 20 years as against 4/5 years of V.V..They are closer. As for me, i prefer VV. But i have to go to Vikaspuri for things Venita  cannot mange without my assistance.

Shanno was to get Rs.18,93,571 as her share of the sale proceeds of the Fatehpur property. I have transferred a sum of Rs.18,00,500 to her account in HDFC Bank. I have to  transfer a sum of Rs 1,16,432 and paise 2/-more including interest. I will do it shortly. 

I was told by Anand that a trust was being created with Shanno, Anjali and Amrish as members. After transfer of Rs 18,00,000 i find that no trust is created. Account will be operated by Shanno and Anjali. Shanno says it is fine.

Below is a note in Memorium of Anuradha Bezbaruah, sent to her family today.

About Anuradha Bezbaruah "I was introduced to Anuradha Bezbaruah by her husband, Madan Bezbaruah after they got married. I was the first to be introduced to her after the completion of the marriage ceremony. I was struck by her grace and simplicity. Madan and I came to know each other at Mussoorie during the Foundation course of 1964 batch. We shared the same room. Later we were allotted to the same cadre. We also got posted in the District of Goalpara as Deputy Commissioner and Superintendent of police. We worked together for about 3 years. This brought our families also together. And thereafter, we have been good friends. Anuradha and my wife Venita were in close touch with each other. Our children too have been in touch with each other. I remember a couple of episodes which throw light on the persona of Anuradha. During the marriage of her elder daughter, I happened to call on her. She told me to come the next day and join in one of the ceremonies. I did not join her as my wife Venita was out of station. Few days later when I met her along with my wife during her daughter’s marriage ceremony, she asked me angrily as to why I did not come as requested by her the other day. She was not happy with the answer given by me. She said I should have come. The affectionate chiding left an indelible impression in me. For the first time I felt that she had so much affection for us and treated us as members of her family. Another episode relates to lunch hosted by her to Venita when she visited her. I could not go with Venita as I was preoccupied otherwise. After a couple of months when I happened to meet her, she asked me as to why I did not join lunch. She did not accept my plea of preoccupation. She said that I could have attended it had  I wanted. There was so much emotion in her complaint that I had no alternative but to apologize. When I was posted at Guwahati and our children were in the hostel at Shillong, she visited them occasionally. Very often she took them home. Our children were of age 7 to 10 years at that time. They remember her affectionately. In fact when my eldest son, who is settled in London, came to know of her death, he said that he had lost his second mother. On the day of cremation when I saw her, I could not believe she was no more.  I felt as if she was about to talk to me and tell why I came alone and did not bring Venita along with me."

On this day 25 years back in 1976 i took my mother-in-law for a dip at Sangam. I had come to Allahabad with a contingent about 30 Assam policemen for Sangam duty. Had filmed the area with a movie camera and taken shots of ISCON camp also in presence of their Founder Prabhupadji. My mother-in-law had accompanied....  Pilku had the privilege accompanying his maternal grandfather for a dip at Sangam when he was just 2/3 year old quite a few times..

Dr. Viveka Kumar saw Venita's complete blood count report. He said it was slightly less. Another blood count is to be done on 10th Jan. Venita complained of loss of concentration. Dr.Kumar reduced the medicines from 16 to 10. We are advised to do CBC every 10 days. He said that if TLC < 4000/mm3 or Platelet, count <1 lac/mm3, we have to contact him immediately. Apart from this, we have to do Fasting lipid profile, Liver function test and CPK after 3 months and show the reports to local cardiologist.

I narrated them about living conditions of large families in riverine areas of Brahmaputra.On hearing about large families,Alaynah,(10),said mischievously,'How could so many live together when i find difficult to live with one sister ?' She loves her sister much. ...Attended cremation of Bezbaruah's wife....Silku spent some time with us on way back home from golf course.

Venita's Angioplasty

We visited Max hospital on 28th in the morning as planned and met Dr, Viveka Kumar,Principal Director and Chief of Cath Labs, Max Hospital,Saket, New Delhi. Venita was admitted in the hospital on 29th. Angiography was done in the afternoon,followed by Angioplasty. After full recovery she came to the room at about 10 pm. One stent was put in one 80%blocked artery. We came back home on 30th Dec.in the evening. She felt fine on New-year-eve and later on Near Day.
