18th to 21st February

On 18th visited CGHS & collected Venita's medicines. Some have to be collected tomorrow. Visited SBI and took a Tax saving fixed deposit. It will save Rs.17,000/- which would have gone as income tax for the financial year 2010-11.In chamber from 1.30-3.30pm.Yash is suffering from Aplastic anemia.It can be cured by implanting bone marrow from siblings.As he does not have a sister or brother, it has to be done by injections/medication. Talked to Dr.Sushum Sharma. He advised in details about treatment of Yash.On 19th met Dr.Lalit Kumar who is the head of the department of Oncology in AIIMS.After seeing the papers,he said that the medical case of Yash related to the Haemotology department and suggested us to meet either Dr.Mohapatra, Dr. Mishra or Dr.Tulika Seth. Visited Noida and met Gillo,Geeta & Yash. Pradeep has to mobilize a sum of rupees 25 Lacs for the treatment of Yash in Fortis Noida.On 28th Venita along with Neha went to look up Yash in Fortis Noida. Yash is stable but he is being given blood and platelets regularly. Gillo is also there. Munna has gone back to Ganganagar today. All of them have been able to mobilize a sum of rupees 10 lacs for the expenses for ATG injections. I have also promised to give a sum of rupees 1 lac for his treatment whenever it is required. On 21st met PPS to the Director AIIMS as desired. Sh.Rakesh Kumar,PPS to the Director AIIMS, organised a meeting with Dr.Vipas Mishra,a hematologist for seeing the medical papers of Yash.he recommended some tests in AIIMS and some outside.It is only after seeing the results of the tests & slides he could decide further course of treatment. Met Dr.Ojha of Fortis Noida who is treating Yash. Tried to meet Director Fortis,but could not. In chambers from 2pm-3.30pm. Collected endorsement for Venita's OCT tests and eye drops.I liked the following line read by me in one of the Sunday newspapers, "And they all know too well that the incease in micro-level corruption is spreading because mega-size corruption is tolerated at the top."
Commissioner of Police,Delhi, has started a good practice. He and his officers will be available to public during certain hours on weekdays. I read it in the morning newspapers.
