Completed morning program. Attended a session of review by Umesh Chauhan, an IAS officer of 1987 batch, presently a joint secretary to Govt of India, on his book of Hindi poems 'Chuni hui kavitayein' at CSOI. I liked recitation of his poem 'Alha' in Avadhi in the context of present political scenario. Avadhi is a dialect ( a particular form of a language which is peculiar to a specific region or social group ) of a part of UP where i was born and brought up.
