Completed morning program. Accompanied by Venita, attended 10th anniversary celebration of the Raising Day of National Resistance Response Force (NDRF) at DRDO Bhavan, Dollhouse road, New Delhi. Shri Rajnath Singh, Union Home Minister, was the Chief guest. He extolled good work of the NDRF. Thereafter joined in annual lunch at Meghalay house in connection with Meghalay Day celebration. Meghalay state came into existence on this date in 1972, 43 years back. It was carved out of 2 districts of the erstwhile State of Assam.,namely, Garo hills and Khasi hills. Now it has 11 districts.
