Completed morning program. It being a closed day, spent the day reading magazines and newspapers. Janmashtami observed today. Venita organized Puja at home. Some sweets were prepared and offered to Krishna on his birthday. One view says that Krishna was born on 18th July 3228 BCE according to Gregorian calender. There are other views which fix His date of birth much before 5000 BCE. However there is unanimity on time of His birth,that is,midnight. Venita joined the celebration in the Society temple also.
