1,2,3,4,5,6 and 7th May

1st
Met Rekha at Kanpur on way to New Delhi. Admissions are going on in full swing at her school.
Left Kanpur for New Delhi by Swarn Shatabdi express in the afternoon. Arrived Delhi at about 11 pm.
2nd
Returned amount received through RTGS to the Branch Manager Union Bank of India. Ruchi came and had dinner with us. Condition of her father is better. No operation is needed immediately. Will be shifted back home shortly.
3rd
The Branch manager Union bank of India promised to send the balance amount  by Saturday. As there is election at Fatehpur on Monday, the deal could be signed on a later date as convenient to all concerned. It was agreed that all payments have to be done through banking channels only.
4th(Saturday)
Attended 3rd B.S. Das Memorial Lecture, organised under the joint auspices of the Association of Retired Senior IPS Officers(ARSIPSO) and the India International on the subject of 'The Environmental Crisis: The Way Ahead' The lecture was delivered by Dr. Bhure Lal, Chairman of Environment Pollution Control Authority since 1998. Very informative. 
Dr. Prasad is back home. Treatment will continue from home.

5th (Sunday)
Visited ailing Dr Prasad. Talked to him for about an hour.
6th
Ruchi went back London in the morning.
7th
On request by Rohit, husband of Shruti Srivastava and in consultation with Advocate Ajay Srivastava, we planned to go to Fatehpur on Sunday the12th. Will be back on 15th.
Neha dropped in.
