At Hyderabad. Golden Jubilee Seminar of 1964 batch was inaugurated by Mrs Aruna Bahuguna, Directer NPA. The batch consisted of 70 officers. Of them 27 died. 4 left after selection to IAS. Only 25 attended. We shared memories of our stay in the Police College at Mount Abu.. It was shifted to Hyderabad in 1974. The NPA campus is much bigger,green and has modren training facilities.
Retired to sleep at about 11 pm.

Interacted with IPS officrs under training. I also met the officers, allotted to NE Caders.
After discussions in our Syndicate, we prepared the recommendations to the Seminar on "Resilience in adverse situation". I refereed to a recent article in New York Times on the subject. It defined Resilience. It says that it is more of inner strength than anything else. In the afternoon, 3 Syndicates including ours presented their recommendations to the seminar. Discussions followed.
On request,Venita also addressed the seminar and thanked the Directer and her staff for excellent arrangements to take care of all of us. We felt at home in NPA. In Mussoorie Reunion of the batch in May along with other services,we felt as if we were guests.
Retired to sleep at about 11 pm.
16th
Left Hyderabad at at about 9.50 am by Air India. Reached Delhi at about 12 noon. Unpacked and commenced packing for journey to Fatehpur on 18th instant.

Completed morning program. Venita visited UK visa office and submitted her application. In the chamber from about 12 noon to 3 pm
