Mumbai Blast

Hi All,

Mumbai blasts have impacted the psyche of the world. The live telecast of the blasts was the cause of the impact. After watching the blasts live on the T.V two thoughts came into my mind. First i thought 9/11 was being repeated. The Taj/Trident/Oberoi buildings will come down like Twin Towers of NY. However it did not happen. Second all the gests in the hotels as well as Nariman House will get killed. But that also did not happen. The impact in terms of damage to property and loss of life was much less than imagined by me. I am reminded of Shakespear's dictum "Present fears or less than horrible imaginings" Our fears are deep rooted in the unconciousness. There are multiple reasons for the same. It is through a thorough analysis of the fears that one may reach the roots thereof. Our dreams also mirror these fears sometimes.
