Drove to VV. We have to go to Chandigarh  from VV  to attend the wedding of Pravesh' son. We will stay overnight  in Police guesthouse on 27 and 28th. As desired by Venita we will do Mahabhishek in a an old Shiva temple at  Kurukshetra on 27th as part of 14th March celebration.

Mahashivaratri is celebrated all over the country. "Maha Shivaratri is a Hindu festival celebrated annually in honour of the god Shiva. Visited Dr B. Prasad. He is not quite well. He is to meet and consult a doctor in Appolo hospital on 1st March.

Drove to Vikaspuri. Venita is already there.Till the end of 4th phase of current  elections in UP, BJP is reported to have slight edge  over other parties.

In an election speech at Fatehpur in UP yesterday, PM Modi said that if land was provided in a village for 'kabristan',it should also be given for 'smashan"; if electricity was provided during 'ramjan' it should also be provided during holi/diwali/durgapuja..There should not be any discrimination on grounds of religion, region or  caste. It infuriated Akhilesh Yadav,UP CM,who, in turn,appealed to Amitabh Bachchan to stop advertising for the donkeys of Gujerat.

Venita went to Vikaspuri. I stayed back at VV. It is convenient to travel to courts and other places from here. These are  quite at a distance from Vikaspuri. Venita has to organize Shivaratri celebration at Vikaspuri temple on 24th Feb. She has also to plan and organize a session of devotional music on 12th March followed by lunch for selected few of the society as part of 50th anniversary celebration ending on 14th March at VV.

Attended a talk by Enver Masud on his book '9/11-Unveiled, an alternative interpretationof the attack on twin towers, N.Y.' at CSOI in the evening. He said that 9/11 could be the work of Mossad and rogues in USA. He was not convincing.

Spent the day reading. Venita went to Gurugram to buy some gifts for the guests on  ensuing 14th March. Could not meet grandkids for fear of infecting them wih her cold/cough.

Spent the day reading, Venita visited ISCON temple in East of Kailash, New Delhi to discuss details of Puja on 14th March on our 50th Anniversary, followed by family lunch in their restaurant.

Along with Venita attended annual lunch of the Association of  Retired Senior IPS officers (Arsipso) at BSF mess, Nizamuddin. In the evening attended a programe of devotional songs  in neighbour's house, followed by dinner.
