Completed morning program.Visited Center for sight for Venita's eye tests.One test could not be done as the concerned ophthalmologist was on leave. Now it is fixed for 3rd April. In the Supreme court from about 1 to 3 pm.

Completed morning program. Spent the day reading newspapers and magazines. Venita spent much time towards organizing Shrimadbhagvat Katha near the society temple. It is to start from 12 to 18th April 2015.

Completed morning program.The ninth manifestation of Goddess Durga is Siddhidatri, worshipped on the ninth day of Navaratri. Maa Siddhidatri is believed to have supernatural healing powers. 
Ramnaomi, birth anniversary of Ram , is also celebrated today. Venita got 4 big fresh flower pretty garlands, one each for Ram, Sita, Lakshman and Hanuman, Ram Parivar idols of the Society temple.

Completed morning program. Visited IIPA. In the Supreme court from about 2 to3.15 pm. Cast vote to elect two of the SCBA  to be Members of Gender Sensitization and Internal Complaints Committee (GSICC).

'Mahagauri Maa is the Eighth Navadurga Goddess, worshipped on 8th day of Navratri. Usually, Mahagauri Puja is observed on Durga Ashtami day. Maha Gauri is a manifestation of Goddess Parvati. When Parvati observed a hard sacrament to obtain Lord Shiva in the forests of Himalayas, she developed a dark complexion. When Lord Shiva accepted her great devotion, he washed the body of Parvati with the water of “Ganga” and her body regained its beauty.'

Completed morning program. In the Supreme court from about 1 to 4 pm. The Supreme court library was full watching semi final between Australia and India. Initially the match was going in favour of India. Later it was collapse of the Indian team. India lost to Australia by 95 runs.

Completed morning program. Visited Safdarjung hospital, CSOI. In the Supreme cort from about 2 to 3.30 pm. India and Australia will play Cricket World cup semi final match at Sydney tomorrow. 
Maa Katyayani, being worshiped today , is the sixth form of Maa Durga. She killed demon Mahisasur.

Completed morning program. Visited Safdurjung hospital and CSOI. In the Supreme court from about 2 to 3 pm. New Zealand entered the Cricket World cup finals after defeating South Africa in a thrilling finish. They will meet the winner of semi final between Australia and India on 26th instant at Sydney.

Her name means 'the cosmic egg' and she is considered the creator of the universe.' Navratri is of 8 days this year.

A friend sent a mail on '15 Amazing 'Foreign' Places You Can Visit In India', which i circulated to friends and relations. I wrote to my friend : " We have visited quite a few of these places. A few remain. We can plan to go to these places in March or June or October or December when we have longer breaks. We have reserved March and October slots for Fatehpur where we enjoy lot of sunshine in a cool, pollution free weather with memories of having lived there in child/boyhood, good food and service. We will try them in June and December when there are extreme weather conditions at Delhi. Venita is also now attuned to these schedules, but still boasts of her good old childhood days in Verma family. It is quite natural. After my transfer from Dhubri to Guwahati in 1974, i was worried as to how children would adjust to new conditions of changed environment,she,like a true traditional Indian wife, had said that they would adjust anywhere with us around them. It had taken away much of my worry. The wives are great that way."
