We had over one hour refreshing chit-chat family WhatsApp interaction yesterday in the evening. We could talk to Pilku/Silku/Babloo/Ruchi/Abhishree/Amolikaa and Alaynah. We had a glimpse of Neha and a word from her too. Ritanbara and Khyati were otherwise preoccupied. We will now meet on 14th June for virtual celebration of Abhishree's birthday .
2,46.628 corona cases with 6929 deaths were reported till 7th June in India. There were 1,19,292 recoveries also during the period.

A memory of 1970
I had to attend a professional course in Shimla in 1970. We had travelled there with Pilku. He was one and a half year old. We visited a tourist site. We were travelling in a jeep. After we had got  down, Pilku still continued fiddling with the steering. He had put the jeep in neutral gear. As it was parked on a slope, it started  moving down slowly. Driver shouted for help. I rushed down from the palace (tourist site). With great effort we stopped the jeep. I took away Pilku in my lap.  I had a photograph of his in my lap after the episode. I could not find it in our albums any more. I long to see it again. Has anyone seen it ?

We have always attended birthday celebrations of Khyati since 2002, Akshat 2007 and Alaynah 2011 in Delhi.  Could not attend all birthdays of Abhishree and Amolikaa as they were in London. Later attended some in different years there also. These were exciting moments for us.
Corona cases touched 2,15,919 with 6075 deaths and 1,04,106 recoveries till 4th June in India.

After the birth of Abhishree on 14th June 2002,we have regularly visited Pilku/Ruchi in UK. I have written travelogue/memoirs after each visit. I collected good number of caps during these visits. I cherish using them. Some of these were gifted by Pilku/Ruchi. The latest cap, brought from Paris, was given by Ruchi. Earlier two were given by Pilku. Remaining have been bought by me. When I go out for walk in park in front of our house at Vsant Vihar in New Delhi, I use them. I change frequently.
Corona cases went upto 2,02,615 with 5815 deaths and 1,00,302 recoveries till 3rd June in India.

Discourses on Yoga Vashist ended today in a TV channel. Venita and myself heard it for over a week  about 3 hours from 3 to 6 pm every day. Venita was more regular than me. We had an enlightening experience.

We had about one and a half hour interaction among ourselves in the family chit-chat yesterday over WhatsApp. We still wanted to continue. We decided to meet next on Sunday the14th June,  Abhishree's birthday.
