Attended 'Think legal series' lecture on 'Law and Literature' by Justice AK Sikri of the Supreme court at SCBA lounge. About one hundred Advocates and others attended. Justice Sikri divided the subject in three parts : 1. Law and Literature 2. Law in Literature aand 3. Literature in Law. Alluding to a number of Hindi films (Pink,Jolly LL.B., Pyasa and others) and foreign and Indian courts' judgements, he dealt with the subject in details. He quoted from Shakespeare's Merchant of Venice and Oscar Wild too. It was quite informative and interesting lecture.

Drove to VV. Searched for a good venue to celebrate our 50th anniversary as asked by Pilku. As it is season of examinations of children and there could be no celebration without their participation, it is decided to defer it to August. Venita proposes to do some puja on the day for the present.

Had visited Anand and Shivali on 28th Jan at  Mumbai. The following 2 expressive photographs of their children were taken there. The first one was by me and the other by Shivali.
