Attended a Round table discussion on Kashmir, organized by Arsipso. To bring back normalcy in Kashmir, i endorsed the suggestions, given by Raj Chengappa in an article in India Today, dated 12th Sept, 2016 :

We drove to Vasant Vihar flat after completing assignments at Vikaspuri. Spent the day reading newspapers and mazines.

Completed morning program. Visited Dr Ashok Seth's office in Escorts hospital. He wanted to re-see my three angiography CDs, two of 2004 and one of 2008.  Dr Dhananjay, a doctor of Dr Seth's team, took them from me. Dr. Seth had seen me about a fortnight back.

Attended Shanti path for Late AK Verma at Chinmaya complex on Lodhi road. Venita visited a temple at Vasant Vihar.
3rd Sept

Attended cremation of late AK Verma at electric crematorium. He retired as Director in cabinet secretariat. He was a past President of Arsipso. 
2nd Sept
Spent the day reading magazines and newspapers.
1st Sep.
Left Shillong at about 11 am. At Guwahati talked to former DGP Assam, Shri MR Choudhuri, now over 88. Could not meet him due to Plane timings. Was keen to talk to him. I had small tenure stints with him as ASP, SP and DIG.Will try to meet him during next visit.
Arrived Delhi at about 6.30 pm.
31st August
Attended the meeting of the State Security Commission. The Chief Minister presided. Others in cluded the State Home Minister,Chief Secretary, Home Commissioner, State DGP Jain,Thankiew, an Advocate and some other officials.Attended dinner hosted by Bijon day, a former DGP,Meghalaya.
30th August
Left for Shillong to attend the meeting of the State Security Commission. While in the aircraft wished to see the Himalaya's snow-capped peaks. Could not due to heavy clouds. At Nongpoh had a chance meeting with the DC, a Maharashtrian gentleman, an IAS officer, in the Circuit house. Could not join  his invitation for lunch as i had to hurry up to Shillong. Had dinner with Peter. He is now a Member of the State Human Rights Commission. The post has the status of a High Court judge. He could be in the post till the age of 70. The Chairman of the Commission is a retired Chief Justice of a High Court. Bijon Dey, a retired DGP of Meghalaya also came for the dinner.
29th August

Pilku left at about 01.30 am and reached at about 11.30 am (IST).
Along with Venita visited Mahajan diognostic center and CGHS. Came to Vikaspuri in the evening.

Completed morning program.
Went to Vikaspuri to cast vote in the Society elections. Barun came along with family. They met Pilku too. Silku joined Pilku over dinner. Babloo/Neha/Akshat came.They met Pilku with gifts to Abhishree and Amolikaa for their rakhis.We all had long chat.
