Completed morning program. Visited CGHS (Ayurvedic & Alopathic). In chamber from 1 to 5.15 pm.  We have conveyed good wishes to Dr.B. Prasad at Lucknow on the occasion of his nephew's marriage and talked to his brother also there. He has been insistent for our presence in the marriage. We have apologized.

9th Dec.

Completed morning program. Spent the day reading magazines and newspapers.
FDI and Cricket are the main issues in the news these days apart from other local matters . I am in favour of FDI for two reasons. Firstly,we will be able to buy the best. Secondly, it will generate desire in the Indian industry to compete. Poor performance by the Indian cricket team in the current series between India and England is another issue. I think that Indian team should be refurbished.

8th Dec.

Completed morning program. Could not accompany Venita to Noida to attend Anjali's son's birthday celebration and lunch. Neha accompanied Venita. She was quite happy with the arrangements for birthday celebration and lunch. Anjali and Ankur have named their son, Anav. On way back, they visited Gita, Pradip and Yash. Venita said that Yash might be able to go to school after sometime. There was improvement in his condition. Could not attend Jauhari's daughter's marriage tonight at Meerut. Venita met Jauharis yesterday and gave a gift.
Gave an interest free loan of Rs.20000/- to Driver Thapa to pay off his debt in the village. He will take reduced salary of Rs.4000/- each month to return it in five months.
Spent the day reading newspapers and magazines.

Completed morning program. Visited Safdurjung hospital. In chamber from 2 to 4.15 pm.
News of the day : "Is the extra light produced on Diwali strong enough to be captured from outer space? Probably not, says NASA, the U.S. space agency. But the image they released of India at night is pretty spectacular nonetheless.

The image, taken on Nov. 12 – when the celebrations for the Hindu festival of lights were in full swing – shows Indian towns and cities brightly lit. Brightest of all is New Delhi, followed by major cities like Kolkata, Mumbai and Bangalore. Beyond India’s borders, the image gets darker. The biggest exception is the Pakistani city of Karachi.

The picture of India was one of several images of the Earth at night shared by NASA scientists. These images were taken at night by a new satellite that captures the glow produced by man-made or natural sources more vividly than ever before. Completed morning program. Visited CGHS. In chamber from 1 to 4 pm. On way back visited physiotherapy center a third time during this week for wax bath of left knee. Improvement is felt. Attended a meeting along with Advocate Atiar Singh Dey at Oberoi hotel.

Completed morning program. Visited dentist for Venita's  Xray IOPA in Moti Bagh II clinic. In chamber from 1.30 to 5 pm

Completed morning program. Visited  Aurvedic North Avenue and CGHS Pandara Road unirs. In chamber from 2 to 4 pm.

3rd Dec.

Went for a 45 minute walk. Visited Safdurjung hospital and CGHS. In chamber from 1.30 to 3.30 pm. On way back had wax bath of left knee at Physiotherapy center.

2nd Dec.

Venita recited Ramayana from 2 to 4 am in the temple. Akhand path ended and Arti took place at 7 am. She returned home at 8 am.
Completed morning program. Spent the day reading the newspapers and magazines.

1rst Dec.

Completed morning program. Visited Physiotherapy center in a nearby temple for wax bath mainly of left knee. As i could not do exercises for about 10 days during stay at Fatehpur and thereafter at Delhi, slight stiffness developed in the left knee. There is no pain. But i cannot bend it 180 degree and do Bajrasan. Some Asans can be done in Bajrasan only.. I have to skip them for the present. It had happened in May 2010. After 15 days of wax bath of the knee, it became supple and i could do Bajrasan.

Babloo was born today 41 years back. It is his 42nd birthday. Venita started Akhand Ramayan today in the temple. It will be completed tomorrow early morning  She recited it from 11 am to 2 pm. She did Puja and distributed dates to the servants. She gave me some too. Good sense has dawned on her. She says she should not get sweets home.

Attended dinner as part of Babloo's birthday celebrations at Gurgaon. Neha lit 41 little candles on an egg-less cake. Babloo cut the cake to the singing of 'Happy Birthday to you'. Apart from us Silku attended the celebration. Ritanbara, Khyati and Alaynah could not join. Khyati has her six monthly terminal written examination tomorrow. Her mother was away to Banglore for few days. She did not focus herself well in studies during these days. Venita and I met them. Venita gave all of them a gift each. We should have given a gift each to Neha and Ritanbara also when we give to all other children. To us they are also like children. We will keep this in mind for future. It was a small/cute celebration of the day.

Amolikaa won gold medal in gymnastics in her age group today.
