Left Hyderabad in the afternoon. Arrived Delhi at about 7.15 pm. Retired to sleep  11 pm.

18th March

Left for Hyderabad early morning along with Advocate Atiar Singh Dey..Attended conference in the afternoon. Retired to sleep at 1130 pm.

17th March

Completed morning program. Attended a Memorial service for Rajat's late father in Arya Samaj mandir at GK-1. A havan was organised amidst chanting of Vedic hymns. The relations and others narrated their memoirs of late Ajay Jauhari. The whole atmosphere was surcharged with emotion. Tears flowed down the eyes of Rajat and some relations. My eyes also gave in. I put on goggles to hide them.
Retired to sleep at 10.15 pm.

16th March

Arrived New Delhi Rly station at 7 am; the train was just a few minutes late.  Completed morning program. Spent the day reading newspapers and magazines. Venita showed signs of mild viral infection.
Retired to sleep at 11 pm.

15th March

Completed morning program. Rajat's father expired yesterday night. Cremation took place today.
Met SP Fatehpur. Dr.Chetan came. Advocate Digvijay informed about Kanpur case. Left for Delhi by Prayagraj Express  Retired to sleep in the train at 11 pm.. 

14th March

Completed morning program. Aparna/Amrish, Shanno, Silku/Khyati/Alaynah/Ritanbara, Barun, Anita, Neha/Akshat, Bitti/Bitto rang up to convey good wishes on our wedding anniversary today. Quite a few called yesterday. Venita cooked special dishes. Some persons visited. Discussed and suggested alterations in repairs to mason, carpenter and others.
Retired to sleep at 10.15 pm.

13th March

Completed  morning program. Kaushal/Gauri, Dr. Prasad/Mrs Prasad, Sunita, Ruchi , Pilku, Neha rang to wish us on our 46th wedding anniversary, though we got married on 14th. When i told this to Dr. Prasad that we got married early morning on 14th, he insisted that we got married on 13th. Venita intervened and said that her mother always wished us on 13th.
We had some visitors. Met Dr. Chetan.

Sunita informed that Rajat's father's condition remained critical and that Rajat was trying his best so that his father lives more years.
Retired to sleep at 10.30 pm.

11 & 12th March

11th
Completed morning program. In chamber from 11.30 am to 4 pm, Rajat's father continued to be critical. Boarded Prayag Raj for Fatehpur at 9,30 pm. Retired to sleep in the train at 10.30 pm.
12th
Arrived home at Fatehpur,6 am. Went out for 1 hour walk. Saw the repairs in the house and discussed alterations. Advocate Digvijaya Singh had lunch with us. Did not get any update on Rajat's father's condition. Retired to sleep at 10 pm.

10th March

Completed morning program. Spent the day reading magazines and newspapers.
Retired to sleep at 11 pm. 

9th March

Completed morning program. Attended a talk by Shri Ronen Sen, former Foreign Secretary  and Ambassador to USA, China, Russia and UK on 'Issues of Foreign Policy', organized by Arsipso from 4 to 6 pm at its office, RK Puram New Delhi. He is the only IFS officer who had the privilege of being posted as ambassador to all these countries one after another.
The condition of Rajat's father remained critical.
Retired to sleep at 10.45 pm.

8th March

Completed morning program. Rajat Jauhari's father,86, is clinically dead .He is kept alive on life support. He has been on sick bed for quite a long time. Venita went to Gurgaon to look him up and his family..  In chamber from 1.15 to 4.15 pm.
Retired to sleep at 11 pm.

7th March

Completed morning program. Visited CGHS. In the Supreme Court and chamber from 1 to 5.15 pm.
Retired to sleep at 11 pm.

6th March

Completed morning program. Visited SBI. In the Supreme Court and chamber from 1 to 4.15 pm.

Completed morning program.Spent the day reading magazines and newspapers. Went out for lunch. Venita did shopping too.

2nd March

Completed morning program.Spent the day reading magazines and newspapers. Venita visited Gurgaon. Babloo and family had booked for a live show from 4 pm. She could meet them when they returned home. They invited her to join the show with them. She preferred to go shopping instead. She met Silku and family also.
India's budget for 2013-14, has proposed to limit the fiscal deficit to 4.5%. It was a little over 5% during 2012-13, But much remains to be done to limit the Current Account deficit. The prices have gone up very high. We are feeling the pinch. Value of rupee is diminishing fast. Let us see how the budget achieves its twin objectives: Growth and control over inflation.
