72nd Republic day was observed on 26th Jan. with parade and other fanfare on Rajpath. Farmers took out tractor trolley rally instead, in un-permitted routes, indulged in attacks on un-armed policemen on duty with tractors, swords, lathis, stones and other missiles. Over 200 policemen were severely injured resulting in unprecedented law and order situation. There was enormous damage/destruction of public property.

In all 10,689,527 corona cases with 01,53,724 deaths and 10,359,305 recoveries were reported till 27th Jan. in India.
