24th June

Walked for one hour.
"Researchers in Rutgers University, USA, found that more the family ate together, the meals tended to be rich in fruits, vegetables, fibre, calcium, vitamins and low on dietary components harmful to health. While family time together allows parents to teach children healthy habits, the increased focus on food eating leads to improved diet. Similarly, the Journal of Nutrition Education and Behavior reports that children in families that watched TV while eating meals together had a lower quality diet. Boys consumed fewer vegetables and more soft drinks. Girls ate more fried food. Alternately food served and meal situations in homes where TY is switched off during meals may be quite different." Retired to sleep at 11 pm
