Venita left Vikaspuri at about 8 am and reached Hardwar at about 4 pm by road. The journey got delayed due to traffic jams on the way near Gaziabad, Meerut, Roorki and Hardwar. She is staying in Suryoday hotel on the bank of Ganga near Har-ki Pauri. She attended Ganga Arti and Puja. She is accompanied by a friend and her Vikaspuri maid. Normally 225.1 km distance between Delhi and Hardwar should be covered in 4 hours and 42 minutes via NH 334.
28th (Sunday)
She had a dip in the morning and and attended Ganga Puja at Hardwar.
29th
She had three dips in the Ganga today. She would have fifth and final dip on the 30th. It is believed that 5 consecutive dips are auspicious.

It is Vaishakh / Buddha Poornima/Magh Poornima today. It is venerated as a 'bathing festival' across the country and a dip in the Ganga on this day holds high religious merit. In Buddhism, there is a special significance of this day. It is celebrated as Buddha Poornima to commemorate the Birth anniversary, Enlightenment and Mahaparinirvana (death anniversary) of the Gautama Buddha.
Venita had fifth and final dip in Ganga today and did Ganga puja.
She left Hardwar at about 10 am after breakfast and reached Vikaspuri at about 5 pm. She stayed there overnight.
