7th June

Completed morning program. Visited Marks and Spencer ( M&M) at Seva  Centre, Colliers Wood in the South West London about a couple of kms away from our residence. I spent about 2 hours in its café sipping coffee and fruit tea when Venita was shopping. The majority of the visitors to the café were senior/very senior citizens (fat, frail, disabled) and hardly any young people. There were also, of course, few mothers with infants. They perhaps come to M&M for shopping  and thereafter to the café for lunch or coffee.
News of the Day from London for children : 1. India beat South Africa by 26 runs  in the first ODI of the ICC Champions Trophy at the Oval grounds yesterday. Shekhar Dhawan scored 114 runs. West Indies defeated Pakistan by two wickets at The Oval  in the second ODI today.
2. 'Cheeky' Bolivian squirrel monkeys bit 15 people last year at London zoo, working out at just over one bite every month.
Retired to sleep at 10 pm.
