Completed Gated Stress Thallium Test at Apollo hospitals. Had to leave home at 8.15 am and returned at about 9 pm. Due to traffic jams, it took about 4 hours in travelling both ways. In this test you have to go to the hospital fasting. Firstly they take your TMT. In course of TMT., an intravenous injection of nuclear medicine is given. We are given a coupon for breakfast in Whole Food restaurant, located inside the hospital.. In the second stage, they scan your heart for about 10 minutes. after 2 hours of breakfast. Then lunch coupon is given and one hour thereafter another scanning is done after an injection of nuclear medicine. You are also wired to an instrument, recently introduced by the grandson of Sh. Reddy, owner of the hospital, to get an analysis of condition of the heart. We would get the report tomorrow by 6 pm.
Retired to sleep at 11.30 pm.
